Israel Launch Old Vehicle Scrapping ProgramMonday, January 4, 2010 The Ministry of Environmental Protection has published a national tender for authorized sites for old vehicle scrappage. The tender represents an important step in the implementation of an accelerated vehicle retirement program in Israel. The program will apply to vehicles that are at least 20 years old and owners will be paid 3000 shekels per scrapped vehicle.
