New Intel Plant Opens in Kiryat GatTuesday, July 1, 2008 Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at the opening of Intel's new $5 billion Fab 28 chip plant in Kiryat Gat, in Southern Israel on Tuesday July 1, 2008. Intel's new plant - which will be the most advanced of its kind in the world opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and was in the presence of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Israel's Industry and Trade Minister Eli Yishai.
