ISRAEL TO BAR ENTRY OF PALESTINIANS FROM GAZA STRIP AFTER HAMAS IS SWORN IN

The closing moment of Erez crossing to Palestinian workers for entry to Israel on Saturday Feb 18, 2006. One of the measures being implemented by the Defense Ministry due to Hamas being sworn into power in the Palestinian Authority today, is the closure of the Erez crossing, disabling workers from Gaza strip entry into Israel and forbidding movement between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The point will serve as international border crossing, with all their implications. Photo by Rafael Ben-Ari/CHAMELEONS EYE.
