ISRAELI VICE PRESIDENT VISITS BORDER SETTLEMENTSMs Ruhama Avraham, the Israeli Vice President of Internal Affairs (member of the Kadima Party) toured the border of Gaza Strip and Israel on Monday, 20 Feb 2006. Ms Avraham toured the area visiting the new terminal being constructed at Erez Crossing and former settlers in the their new settlements along the border of Gaza Strip. Ms Avraham visited the new settlements to learn more about the needs of the Israeli Army and the settlers and to find a solution to better protect the civilians from damage caused by the Palestinian Kassam Rockets.
