SDEROT CONFERENCE FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POLICYAvishay Braverman, Israeli economist and politician, former president of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He is number four on the Labour list, is at the Sapir center in the Southern town of Sderot on Wednesday November 7, at the Sderot Conference for Social and Economic Policy in the shadow of the Qassam rocket barrages that this town has been absorbing. The Sderot Conference for Social and Economic Policy is a centerpiece in Israel’s social debate and focuses on social and economic issues in Israel. Its participants included government ministers, members of the Knesset, researchers in various social fields, and social activists.
