ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER ORDERS NEW GAZA INCURSION

An IDF cannon artillery lands and blows up in northern Gaza Strip at the Zikim border on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz gave the green light to additional incursions into Gaza to free the kidnapped soldier and to stop continuing Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel. Military sources said that the new incursion would involve naval, infantry, and air forces, which would operate in the Gaza Strip. Photo by Rafael Ben Ari/CHAMELEONS EYE.
