MIDEAST ISRAEL ARMY LAUNCHES GAZA ASSAULTYoav Galant, Chief of Southern Command is explaining to the media the reasons for the IDF for entering Gaza Strip at Nachal Oz on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. The Israeli army has begun a ground offensive in southern Gaza to try to gain the release of an Israeli soldier early Wednesday morning. The incursion came hours after Israeli aircrafts struck at bridges and a power plant in the Gaza Strip.
