KIDNAPPED SOLDIER GILAD SHALITS FAMILY AND FRIENDS HOLD BIRTHDAY PARTYAt the post where Gilad Shalit was kidnapped with a sign reading "Gilad, we are waiting for you at home" celebrating Gilad Shalits Birthday today. Kidnapped Soldier Gilad Shalit turned 20 on Monday August 28, nearly three months after he was kidnapped by Palestinian operatives in a cross-border attack between Gaza Strip and Israel. Shalits 20th birthday was marked with a family birthday party at the Kerem Shalom outpost from where he was abducted last June. There are still high hopes that he will be returned to safety.
