ITALIAN PM PRODI VISITS ISRAELItalian Prime Minister Romano Prodi meets Ethiopian-Israeli children while visiting the southern Israeli town of Sderot which has been hard-hit by rockets fired in recent years by militants in the Gaza Strip on Monday July 9 2007. Prodi, on his first visit to Israel since taking office in May last year, toured Israel and the Palestinian territories for talks focusing on Iran\'s nuclear ambitions and efforts to revive the Middle East peace process.
