QASSAM ROCKET DIRECTLY HITS SDEROT HOME

An Ethiopian Resident of Sderot is panicing directly after a house was hit by a Kassam rocket in western Negev town of Sderot on Thursday December, 13, 2007. A Qassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip directly hit a house in causing severe damage. A 40-year-old woman was moderately wounded from the impact of the strike. Her injuries were inflicted primarily as a result of the force of the rocket\'s impact. Several other people suffered from shock. On Wednesday, at least 17 rockets were fired at the Negev, leaving five people lightly wounded and prompting the mayor of Sderot to resign in protest of what he termed government inaction against the daily attacks.
