DARFUR REFUGEES IN ISRAELDarfur refugee men are enjoying lunch in Ibim youth village, located in the municipality of Sha\'ar HaNegev near Sderot on Tuesday July 10 2007. After fleeing from Sudan, crossing through Egypt and Sinai peninsula into Israel, some sixty Sudanese refugees including 20 children have been fortunate to be given accommodation, food and clothing by the Jewish agency of Israel. More than 250,000 people have been killed in Darfur since 2004 and nearly 2.5 million Sudanese have fled their homes due to ethnic and religious cleansing. Under deteriorating humanitarian conditions, children have lost their parents, refugees have lost all their possessions, murder and other forms of violence are common.
