Israel Receives its First Rainfall in Eight Months

A meteorologist from Kibbutz Negba in south Israel measures the amount of rain after Israel received its first good rainfall for the past eight months after suffering from drought conditions on Tuesday, 28 October, 2008. Due to this incessant rainfall, the Sea of Galilee\'s water level has gone up 1.5 centimeters, where Israel sources most of it\'s drinking water. Photo by Rafael Ben-Ari/Chameleons Eye.
