Israel Defense Force Troops Kill Four Hamas Gunmen Near Gaza BorderIsrael Defense Forces soldiers killed four Hamas gunmen near the Gaza border on Wednesday after they spotted a group of Palestinian gunmen approaching the security fence where the militants were trying to lay an explosive device. The troops subsequently opened fire on the militants. During an ensuing gunbattle, a number of mortar shells were fired at the IDF troops and an explosive device was detonated, according to the army.
